I booked this hotel specifically due to the location. It's 10minutes walk away from Excel and the Prince Regent DLR. Very residential neighbourhood. The workers at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, offering free fruits at the entrance and are more than happy to help with any problems during your stay, or if in need for help with directions. There are a few corner shops close by so you can buy the odd toothpaste/beer etc. and a fish and chip shop opposite the road. Kebab shop next to the hotel seems quite popular with the locals as well. Good transport links as well as there is a bus stop nearby. 473 takes you to Stratford. The bathroom is very spacious for a single room and the shower is hot and has good water pressure. The wifi provided was also very good and I didn't have any problem accessing the internet on my laptop during my stay.

Automatic doors at entrance. Elevator. Room was clean. Common areas were clean. Hairdryer in the room. Location is close enough to the trains and both train stations have elevators. Convenience store across the street. I was able to work at the desk in the room comfortably enough. Plenty of outlets & my weirdly designed adaptor was able to fit. Complementary fruit in the lobby. (At least I *think* it's complementary or they offered it to me because I was completely melting from the heat when I checked in. Might be part of the breakfast so maybe verify.) They also let me check in a little early - so appreciative for that. ~ FOOD NOTES: I ate at Zzetta Pizza (yum) 2 times and worked at The Milk Tree cafe (lovely) - both walkable within 30 minutes.

The hotel staff were very professional and accommodating, from the moment of check in till the moment of check out. The breakfast was nice and freshly made by a staff member. Fruit basket was available for whenever you want it even after breakfast. WiFi was decent. They also had gated parking so I was quite relaxed about parking at this place, just ask the staff member to open the gate as it's secured by a gate. The room was very cozy and there was central heating and also an extra mini heater as well especially during when I booked this. Overall the place and experience was worth the price.

Hotel exceeded expectations. Excellent location for Excel centre (5-10 minute walk from East Entrance). I was fully prepared for it to be a dump because it was so cheap for this area but the room was clean, spacious, comfortable and very warm (below freezing outside).. Staff were super nice and there's a cracking chippy across the road. I've previously stayed in some of the overpriced chain hotels in this area but this place is a gem. 10/10 will stay again. I stayed in "the annexe" which was a converted house a few doors up from the main hotel.

Good location for us going to a concert at London stadium and then the West End for a show. We just went around using taxis to get to where we wanted. We were in a seperate block to the main hotel and we liked this. Our room was fine for 2 nights, we weren't in much due to being out. We would have struggled for more nights due to the lack of storage space for 2. On arrival, we were given complimentary breakfast the next day, a nice touch. The staff were friendly and had to contend with a sewage leak whilst we were staying.
