The front of house was excellent. Showed us where the parking was and took us to our room. The cleaning staff when we passed them on the stairs were extremely polite and wished us good morning and a smile! The rooms are exceptionally clean and a good size. Linen was spotlessly clean as were the towels. Bathroom was clean and smelt nice. There is even shower gel provided. Heating worked well and there are plenty of power points available. The location is great. DLR is a 6 minute walk to Prince Regent Lane station. There is a bus stop virtually outside that will take you eastbound towards docklands (and the excel) or Beckton, or westbound towards East Ham, Stratford and Ilford. Driving around is easy as your right on the A13 & the A406. Theres also ample amounts of takeaway food outlets for you. Theres a great chip shop just across the road, and a kebab and Chinese. Also, deliveroo & Uber eats will deliver to the hotel. Theres a really good general store across the road as well that stock everything you could need. The staff over there are great as well, very friendly.

The staff were so accommodating in every possible way. We were greeted with cold water bottles and helped with parking along with the staff helping us to our room with our luggage. We were even up grated to a family room rather than the double room I had originally booked for me and my daughter. They even gave us a tray of ice when requested by my daughter on Saturday evening as she wanted a cold drink. A fan was even provided in the room along with an iron and ironing board. Tea and coffee were no bother when asking for extra. We were told by the manager that they were happy for us to leave the car in their secure car park when checking out, not that we needed to, but the offer was very appreciated . The staff went far and beyond to make us comfortable on our stay at the hotel, which was so much appreciated.

The staff were super helpful and accommodating to any request. I requested a larger airy room and got just that which I’m so grateful for and they walked me back and forth to the parking space when I would come back late at night. It felt very safe which as a young female alone was important for me. The bed was so comfortable. I thought because I was facing the street it would be noisy but with the window shut you really can’t hear anything so I had the best sleep. I love how many lighting options there were and plug sockets not like many other hotels. The bathroom and bedroom were very clean and the rainfall shower was 10/10.

Hotel exceeded expectations. Excellent location for Excel centre (5-10 minute walk from East Entrance). I was fully prepared for it to be a dump because it was so cheap for this area but the room was clean, spacious, comfortable and very warm (below freezing outside).. Staff were super nice and there's a cracking chippy across the road. I've previously stayed in some of the overpriced chain hotels in this area but this place is a gem. 10/10 will stay again. I stayed in "the annexe" which was a converted house a few doors up from the main hotel.

Booked 1 night to go to event at ExCel.. so glad I did! Hotel receptionists were very helpful and generous allowing me to park in the hotel parking space all day so I could leave it and walk from there to ExCel. Saved me a few quid! Room was reasonable size and had a decent balcony from where you could see the London skyline! Breakfast was a lovely bonus as well. All for less than any of the well known 'big brand' hotel chains nearby. Would stay again.
